Association Langas į ateitį takes the lead of National Digital Coalition in Lithuania

The ceremony of  Memorandum of Understanding  signing by National Digital Coaliton partners took place during ICT2013 conference CREATE,CONNECT, GROW in Vilnius on November 7th. Lots of attention, lots of important people and mass media. The ceremony was honored by EC vicepresident Neelie Kroes who gave a speach and above all - signed the Memorandum together with 11 Lithuanian partners.

International Telecentre Multimedia Academy project gained the momentum

In the very end of May the 2nd partners’ meeting of international Telecentre Multimedia Academy project was held in Granada. Hosted by Spanish partner organization Esplai the meeting reviewed project achievements and coordinated further activities of the project as well as opened a possibility to introduce the project to the participants of the Global Telecentre.org conference Spark 2013 which was organised in Granada just after the meeting.

The European Award for Best Content for Kids

This exciting award aims at encouraging children and adults to create new and highlight already existing child-friendly, quality online content. It is organised by the Insafe network within the framework of the European Commission's Safer Internet Programme.

Kick-off meeting of the Telecentre Multimedia Academy project in Timisoara

Telecentre-Europe AISBL has partnered with 7 of its member organizations for implementing the Telecentre Multimedia Academy (TMA), a 24 months project aimed at designing, developing and piloting a learning programme on media literacy addressed to adult learners. During 20-21 November the kick-off meeting took place in Timisoara and was hosted by EOS Foundation, the Romanian partner of the project.

Kick-off meeting of new international "Use IT and enjoy" project

The recently started international project Use IT and Enjoy implemented by Swedish, Danish and Lithuanian partners has come into action. In the very beginning of September the kick-off meeting was held in Vilnius. The project team consisted of representatives from Aeldremobiliseringen (DK), PRO (SE) and Langas į ateitį (LT) and it was a great opportunity to get to know each other, to review project aims & objectives as well as to discuss the next project activities.
