On 18 January 2008 the international conference “PIAP – for the Development of the Information Society in Lithuania” will be held.

The conference is a part of the project “Development of Rural Internet Access Points Network”. The project is implemented by the Ministry of Interior of the Republic of Lithuania with a goal to expand the PIAPs network in Lithuania by establishing 400 new PIAPs and modernizing 83 PIAPs in rural areas.
