Disabled persons will attend computer literacy courses

Association Langas į ateitį together with the Department for the Affairs of Disabled at the Ministry of Social Security and Labour is organizing a conference “Accessibility of Information Technologies to the Disabled”. During the event the computer literacy trainings were presented.

Implementing the EU Social Fund project “Computer Literacy Basics for a Lithuanian e-Citizen” Langas į ateitį was not able to provide computer literacy trainings to disabled persons because of technical obstacles. Seeking to provide a possibility to gain the IT knowledge to all interested adults Langas į ateitį applied and received additional funding from EU Social Fund. As a result during June and July the computer literacy and internet usage courses will be organized to 400 persons with disabilities in 16 municipalities of Lithuania.
